Stage 01 of 6 — Foundation and frame
Page structure, URLs, schema, and site health. Get this wrong and every dollar you spend on marketing lands on a site search engines cannot read.
No pitch. No lock-in. 30 minutes.
Digital Architecture is the first stage of the Oculus Intel build. It covers the site's information architecture, URL structure, heading hierarchy, internal linking, JSON-LD schema markup, crawl directives, and Core Web Vitals performance. The work produces a documented sitemap where every page has a defined purpose, a parent, a priority tier, and a target search intent. The domain is registered to the client's business, and the site files are delivered at handoff.

A site can look finished and still be invisible. Pages that no link points to are never crawled. Two URLs serving the same page split whatever authority the page earned. Missing schema means search engines and AI assistants have to guess what your business does, and they usually guess wrong.
None of this shows up in a screenshot. It shows up as a marketing budget that never quite produces what it should, for reasons nobody can point at.

Lowercase, hyphenated, keyword-bearing slugs that mirror the site hierarchy. No dates, no parameters, no duplicate paths competing with each other.
JSON-LD for Organization, LocalBusiness with your specific subtype, Service, FAQPage, Article, and BreadcrumbList — server-rendered, validated against Google's Rich Results Test.
robots.txt, XML sitemap, canonical tags, and llms.txt. AI crawlers explicitly permitted, because a blocked crawler cannot cite you.
No orphan pages. Every page carries at least three inbound links, with descriptive anchor text and a hub-and-spoke structure across content clusters.
Core Web Vitals measured and remediated. WCAG 2.1 AA checked on every template: contrast, focus order, keyboard navigation, alt text.

Each stage stands on the one before it. Digital Architecture is stage 01 of six.

Foundation and frame
Page structure, URLs, schema, and site health. Get this wrong and every dollar you spend on marketing lands on a site search engines cannot read.

Systems
CRM, pipelines, follow-up automation, and Chase AI picking up calls and messages at any hour. Built inside accounts registered to your business.

Finish
Visual identity and interface work for the moment a buyer has your page open alongside three competitors and is deciding which one looks like it will show up.

Staging
Content, social, and paid campaigns built as a fair trade — something genuinely useful in exchange for a few minutes of someone's time.

Curb appeal
Google Business Profile, citations, reviews, and the structure that gets you named when someone asks an AI assistant for a recommendation.

Maintenance
Credentials, documentation, training, and monitoring. This is where ownership stops being a promise on a homepage and becomes a list of logins in your name.
Next stage
Digital architecture is the structural layer of a website: how pages are organized, how URLs are formed, how pages link to each other, and how machine-readable data describes the content. It is decided before visual design, because layout and copy both depend on the structure underneath them.
Search engines infer what a site is about from how its pages connect. Clear hierarchy and consistent internal linking group related pages into recognizable topics. Orphan pages, duplicate URLs, and missing schema break those signals, so pages compete with each other or go uncrawled entirely.
For search and AI visibility, yes. Schema states explicitly what a page describes rather than leaving it to be inferred. It is also what makes a business eligible for rich results, and it is a strong predictor of whether AI assistants cite a page when answering a question.
