Plain explanations of the work most businesses pay for without being able to check. What each area covers, how long it takes, and how to tell whether it is being done.
The Digital Guides are reference pages from Oculus Intel covering five areas of digital work: search engine optimization, answer engine optimization, social media management, the Google product ecosystem, and reputation management. Each guide explains what the work consists of, what results to expect and when, which metrics indicate progress, and which parts a business can reasonably handle itself. They are written as reference material rather than as sales pages.

Each guide maps to a stage of the Complete Digital Build, so you can read about a subject and then see exactly where it sits in a build.

Digital Architecture stage
What search engine optimization work actually consists of, how long each part takes to show results, and which numbers tell you whether it is working.

Digital Footprint stage
How AI assistants decide which sources to name, and what has to be true of a page before one will quote it.

Digital Marketing stage
Which platforms are worth the time for a trade or industrial business, what to post, and how social activity feeds search and AI visibility.

Digital Footprint stage
How Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics, Tag Manager, and Ads fit together — and which account each one has to live in.

Digital Engineering stage
How to generate reviews consistently, what to do when one goes badly, and why the response itself matters more than the rating.
The Digital Guides are reference pages covering the areas of digital work most often misunderstood by business owners paying for them: search optimization, answer engine optimization, social media, the Google product ecosystem, and reputation management. Each explains what the work consists of, how long it takes to show results, and how to tell whether it is being done properly.
Not necessarily. Several of the items covered — completing a Google Business Profile, keeping business details consistent across directories, asking every customer for a review — are achievable in-house and cost nothing but attention. The guides say plainly which parts those are.
Quarterly. Each page carries a visible last-reviewed date, which is also the date recorded in its structured data. Search and AI recommendations change quickly enough that anything older than a year should be read with caution, ours included.
Thirty minutes on the phone. We look at what you have, tell you what is worth building, and say so plainly if we are not the right fit.
No pitch. No lock-in. 30 minutes.
